Lindsay Berg and Serge Dahan open up their home as an atelier to invited visitors and guests. The studio becomes an open space for esthetic conversation and inquiries.
Their influences include Fauvism, Surrealism, Cubism, Impressionism also African Art. They both enjoy music, ballet, modern dance, world literature and quiet dialogues at home.
Berg and Dahan began to collaborate serendipitously while they were respectively facing OCD and a cancer diagnosis amidst the Gaza war which affected them both deeply. Their first collaborative piece, “Past, Present and Future” reflects the pain, compassion and hope they both felt for all those children suffering.
Their many-layered compositions share a mission to reach people suffering all over the world. They draw their characters and colors from memory and their imagination — characters to embrace all of the universe and to make the invisible visible for everyone.
The duo strikes to create a contributive art form that impacts peace in the world. A real world that needs hope and healing and that offers hope for all those who are suffering.
