My name is Lindsay.

I am an artist—illustrator based in Victoria, BC who is inspired by small moments, children’s literature, world literature, memory, life drawing, and the natural world around me. My work moves between observation and imagination — from quiet studies of blooms to more whimsical and poetic storytelling.

I create for those who, like me, love to be astonished.

I also enjoy writing, singing, poetry, travel, time with friends sharing a conversation over tea. I keep an array of books with me, a diary, and a sketchbook. Raised by the sprawling Mojave Desert, continually inspired by the forests and gentle oceans of Vancouver Island.

It is my hope that I approach the world with both eyes open — one to embrace its myriad challenges and the other, to celebrate its beauty.
